Bow Tie Cinemas cutting Hartford show, snack prices

Ridgefield movie-theater operator Bow Tie Cinemas says it is shaving as much as a $1.50 off its summer ticket and concession prices at its two cineplexes in Hartford and West Hartford.

The summer “Price Rewind” applies to all regular ticket and concession prices, starting from June 17 until Sept. 8.

A Bow Tie spokeswoman said the price cuts apply only to its Palace 17 and Cinema City screens on New Park Road in Hartford and its Criterion Cinemas theater at Blue Back Square in West Hartford Center.

Bow Tie also operates screens elsewhere in Connecticut, New York  state, Maryland, Virginia and Colorado.
