Plato’s Closet, a boutique buyer and seller of gently used name-brand clothing, is opening a Southington store.
The new store at 750 Queen St. is owned by Danielle DeLucco, 39, and her husband Mike Molnar, 51. It will launch on Thursday, Jan. 9, with special promotions through the weekend.
DeLucco previously worked as a bridal hairstylist for eight years with Naomi Studio and Salon. Molnar owns the Choice Motor Car dealership in Plainville.
Plato’s Closet has more than 510 franchised stores in the United States and Canada.
It is franchised by Winmark – the Resale Company, which also franchises Once Upon A Child, Play It Again Sports, Style Encore and Music Go Round. As of Sept. 28, there were more than 1,343 Winmark franchises in operation.
