An industrial property at 182 Commerce St. in East Haven has been sold to a local bottle redemption business for $1.8 million.
Priyal LLC will relocate its operations from nearby 99 Commerce St., to the new, larger premises, which comprise a 20,330-square-foot building on a 1.66 acre lot.
The building was sold by Schneider Electric USA.
Priyal runs a retail bottle return business with several locations in Connecticut including Orange, Windsor, South Windsor and Vernon.
Schneider Electric had owned the premises for the last five years, where it ran a facility modernizing and fabricating electrical equipment.
The company has its Connecticut headquarters in North Haven.
