A bottle recycling center has leased industrial space in Bristol, featuring the state’s first “sustainability stations.”
The tenant, RecyclX LLC and principal Shahil Kantesaria will operate a bottle recycling production center at 95 Wooster Court.
The long-term lease for the 21,000-square-foot space begins July 1. Deal terms were not disclosed.
RecyclX, in partnership with Maine-based Clynk, will be the first processing facility to implement “sustainability stations,” where bags of returnable cans and bottles are dropped off, according to Renee Stevens of Hamden-based Press|Cuozzo Commercial Services, who represented the tenant.
Redemption fees are processed through a technology-based return system.
The landlord, Wooster Court Realty Associates, was represented by Dave Murdock of Sentry Commercial.
The building had previously been home to a tire and trucking service center. It features heavy power, drive-in doors and multiple truck bays, and nearby access to Route 72.
