Four neighboring East Granby warehouses just outside Bradley International Airport sold for $6.2 million in March.
The pre-finished, metal-sided warehouses at 7-17 Bradley Park Road range in size from 35,200 to 40,924 square feet, for a total of 153,672 square feet of space on an 8.6-acre property. The buildings were built between 1979 to 2011, according to town assessing records.
Stratford-based Wiehl Holdings II LLC sold the property to Bradley Park Property Owner LLC in a deal logged March 31.
The principals of Wiehl Holdings are Kimberly H. Wiehl, of Westport, and William P. Wiehl, of Orange.
The buying LLC is tied to GFI Partners, a real estate developer, operator and investment manager. The two entities share a Boston address. The principal of the buying LLC, Steven Goodman, founded GFI in 1997.
On its website, GFI describes itself as “one of the largest and most experienced real estate developers” in the Northeast.
Industrial properties remain a hot commodity in Connecticut, particularly warehousing and logistics space north of Hartford near Bradley International Airport.
