The nation’s last Borders Books stores, including one next door to Westfarms mall, will be shut by mid-September, authorities say.
Liquidation sales are under way on the remaining $100 million in inventory at all 359 remaining locations, officials said Friday.
The liquidation is being managed by a joint venture composed of Boston’s Gordon Brothers Group, LLC; Hilco Merchant Resources, LLC; Great American Group, LLC; SB Capital Group, LLC; and Tiger Capital Group, LLC.
