Bombard to retire from Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce

After more than five years at the helm, Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce President and CEO Cindy Bombard announced she’s retiring from the post later this year.

Bombard, who began her tenure as president and CEO in 2017, said her last day at the chamber is June 30. Prior to taking over as president and CEO, Bombard was the chamber’s vice president of sales and marketing from 2010 to 2017.

Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce officials said Bombard’s replacement will be named in the coming weeks.

During Bombard’s time as head of the chamber, the organization added the Plymouth, Farmington, and Plainville chambers into the regional network.
