A national boating industry company has signed a long-term lease for space in an Old Saybrook warehouse.
Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing Inc. is a division of Brunswick Boat Group Inc., a national distributor of products and parts for the boating industry.
The group signed a three-year lease for more than 29,000 square feet of space at 141 Mill Rock Road East, Old Saybrook.
Built in 1971, the warehouse, office and distribution facility sits on 11 acres of land near Interstate 95 and Route 9. The building features several offices, large open workstation areas, and a kitchenette with docks and overhead doors in the warehouse/distribution area.
The space was formerly used as office space, primarily open floor area. It has now been cleared of carpeting, and a truck dock with leveler has been added so Land ‘N’ Sea can use the space for warehousing.
The industrial campus also features a daycare facility and a fitness center as well as a full-time property manager on site.
The landlord is Mill Rock Leasing, LLC.
Kevin Geenty of The Geenty Group was the sole broker in the deal.
