Bloomfield’s Operation Fuel hires Yule as deputy director, Long as policy director

Operation Fuel, a Bloomfield nonprofit that provides year-round energy and utility assistance, announced the hiring of Darlene Yule as its deputy director and Gannon Long as director of policy and public affairs.

Yule, a graduate of Russell Sage College who holds a master’s degree in public health from the University at Albany, will  provide leadership, direction and oversight for the organization’s operations. Long, a graduate of the University of Chicago and an MBA candidate at the University of Connecticut, will lead the nonprofit’s government affairs, public policy and advocacy initiatives.
