Bloomfield software maker raises $5.5M

PCC Technology Group, a Bloomfield developer of corporate and government software applications, has raised $5.5 million from Stonehenge Growth Capital and Connecticut Innovations, CI announced.

The money will support PCC’s pursuit of new customer contracts, expanded sales and marketing initiatives, and the national rollout of a new software product, officials said.

PCC’s software-as-a-service products manage corporate compliance, online voter registration and other processes. The company, which was founded in 1994, said it has deployed systems in 21 states.

CI’s $1.5 million investment comes from its venture and mezzanine debt fund.
