A Bloomfield medical office building hosting a Hartford HealthCare cardiology practice recently sold for $2.95 million.
The 12,173-square-foot building at 711 Cottage Grove Road is home to Cottage Grove Cardiology. It had been owned by CGC Associates, a limited liability company whose principals include five doctors with the cardiology practice.
As of July 1, Cottage Grove Cardiology “joined” the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute, practicing exclusively at Hartford Hospital, according to the group’s website. Staff at the Bloomfield cardiology office referred questions to Hartford HealthCare.
A Hartford HealthCare representative was not immediately available Wednesday.
The Bloomfield building sits on 1.3 acres zoned for professional office.
It was purchased by 711 Cottage LLC, a limited liability company whose principals are David Raisner of West Hartford and Ronald Webber of Farmington. Attempts to reach Raisner and Webber were unsuccessful.
While Hartford Healthcare did not purchase the building when it affiliated with the cardiology practice inside it. Raisner and Webber have been affiliated with a Hartford Healthcare project in the past.
Last May, West Hartford approved plans for a new 17,000-square-foot medical building at 136 South Main St. to be used by Hartford HealthCare. That property is owned by a limited liability company controlled by Raisner and Webber.
The pair have pursued other ventures together. They were among four partners in a development of 15 upper-tier, single-family homes in West Hartford in 2018. That Gledhill Estates development broke ground in 2018 and is currently selling houses at base prices ranging from $699,900 to $921,900.
