‘BLIND SIDE’ FAMILY JOINS YMCA TO CELEBRATE CHAMPIONS

Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, best known as the family portrayed in the film, “The Blind Side,” which depicted their experience with Baltimore Ravens football player Michael Oher on his journey from homelessness to the NFL, were the honored guests at YMCA Celebrates Champions, the signature fundraising event of the YMCA of Greater Hartford. The event raised more than $50,000 to support Read to Succeed, an adult literacy program, and other Y programs and services that enhance the personal development of youth, families, and adults.
