Blast Fitness said it will move its West Hartford gym a half mile down the road later this year.
Blast — which acquired its 1031 New Britain Ave. location and nearly 40 others in 2012 from Bally Total Fitness — plans to open at 983 New Britain Ave. on Nov. 1. The new location is in the Price Rite plaza.
Similar to its rivals Planet Fitness and The Edge Fitness Clubs, Blast charges $10 a month. Blast’s new location will offer babysitting, exercise classes, tanning and other amenities.
