East Hartford’s BioSafe Systems has hired Ron Fisher as Northeast territory manager for its agrichemical division, which sells largely organic soil, water and foliar treatments.
Fisher, who will be based in New Jersey, will be responsible for the company’s crop protection, water treatment and food safety segments. Those duties include establishing relationships with distribution partners and technical support to customers.
Fisher most recently was assistant manager of a 370-acre vegetable farm. He has also grown row crops and in a greenhouse.
