A specialty coffee shop, Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Café, is under new ownership in Manchester at the Plaza at Buckland Hills.
Owner and operator Ajay Mathew, of South Windsor, said his location will offer the franchises’ bagels and baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups, along with an expanded menu including specialty espresso brews, pour overs, rotating flavored offerings and cold foam toppers in a coffeehouse ambiance.
Franchisor Jerry Puiia said the Manchester location will serve as a launchpad for all Between Rounds’ new coffee brews.
Puiia and his brother Jerry Puiia started Between Rounds Bakery Sandwich Café more than 30 years ago, and now have corporate headquarters in South Windsor, and other locations in Vernon Circle Shopping Center, and the independently owned Tolland store adjacent to a Citgo Express Gas Station.
