Bethany building materials maker Laticrete International said it plans to acquire L&M Construction Chemicals of Omaha, Neb.
Laticrete, which has other locations in six states, said the deal will expand its restoration and decorative-concrete product offerings.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to take three months.
L&M makes concrete construction chemicals such as coatings, sealers, grouts, patch-and-repair mortars and color hardeners, the company said.
The L&M brand name will continue under the Latricrete corporate brand. Manufacturing and sales will remain in Nebraska.
The deal adds to Laticrete’s expansion of its restoration and decorative product lines over the past several years.
In 2011, it acquired New Hampshire-based Drytek Flooring Solution and formed a joint venture with Supercap, a New York company that manufactures a pumpable cement-based underlayment for leveling floors and finishing cement.
