Bethany manufacturer names new CEO 

Laticrete has named Patrick Millot as its next chief executive officer, succeeding David A. Rothberg, who will continue as chairman of the company’s board.

The Bethany-based company manufactures construction-related materials, such as adhesives, mortar, coatings, sealants and grout. 

Millot is scheduled to start in his new role on Aug. 10. Previously, he worked for the Fortune Global 500 company, Saint-Gobain, which is based in France.

Millot in an announcement called Laticrete a “wonderful success story” with a leading brand in the construction industry.

Company leadership cited Millot’s experience in running a large global business.

“Patrick comes to us after a successful career in manufacturing and omni channel distribution for the industrial and construction industries,” Rothberg said.

Gaylord names nurse as 2020 Employee of the Year

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, a rehabilitation-focused nonprofit healthcare organization, has named nurse June Napolitano as the Joseph A. Lindenmayer 2020 Employee of the Year. 

A Gaylord employee since 1998, Napolitano is currently the manager of patient flow and nursing supervision on Gaylord’s Wallingford campus.

The award was established in 1992 by the family of Joseph A. Lindenmayer, a former Gaylord patient. According to his daughter, Josephine L. Gierer, the award acknowledges the kindness shown to her father by Gaylord employees. This year’s celebration marks the 29th recipient of the award since its inception.
