Bloomfield insurance giant Cigna Corp. has drawn an issuer credit rating of “bbb”.
Best also affirmed the financial strength rating of A and issuer credit ratings (ICR) of “a” several Cigna affiliates, among them Connecticut General Life Insurance in Bloomfield, Life Insurance Co. of North America, and Cigna Life Insurance Company of New York, and Cigna Worldwide Insurance Co. The outlook for these ratings is stable.
Finally, Best has assigned a financial strength rating of A and an ICR of “a” to Cigna Arbor Life Insurance Co. in Bloomfield. The outlook for these ratings also is stable.
