BermudAir to launch nonstop flights from Bradley Intl. Airport

BermudAir, the flagship carrier of Bermuda, will offer nonstop service from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) beginning in April 2025, the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) said Thursday.

Flights will begin on April 3 and operate on Thursdays and Sundays, CAA said.

BermudAir features business and economy classes onboard its fleet of Embraer 175 aircraft.

CAA Executive Director Kevin A. Dillon said the new route “will provide convenient connectivity for leisure and business travelers who are looking to visit this popular destination and aligns with our commitment to offer access to more international routes.”

Bermuda’s airport provides border preclearance for passengers returning to the United States, which means they clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Bermuda before returning to Bradley, CAA said.

The announcement of a new route to Bermuda follows the CAA’s announcement earlier this month that Avelo Airlines has added seven new routes from Bradley to North Carolina, Florida, Houston, Jamaica and Mexico.
