The 110-acre Berlin property has an approved residential development plan.
A 110-acre residential development site in Berlin has sold for $4.05 million, according to brokerage firm O,R&L Commercial.
AA Denorfia Building & Development acquired the property at 51 Randecker Lane, known as The Preserve at Shuttle Meadow, from Shuttle Meadow Country Club, according to O,R&L. The land is located off West Lane in Kensington.
According to its website, Southington-based AA Denorfia builds homes and develops residential and commercial properties. The company, founded in 1981, says it has developed more than 1,500 residential and commercial units.
The Berlin property has an approved residential development plan, according to O,R&L.
The Hartford Business Journal reported in 2022 that Berlin’s Planning and Zoning Commission had approved 104 homes on a 20-acre portion of the property. The plans, at the time, called for 28 single-family homes and 76 units in 48 two- and four-family buildings.
It wasn’t immediately clear what AA Denorfia Building & Development’s plans are for the property.
O,R&L said the site attracted multiple offers.
