Berkshire Hathaway’s Farmington asset manager names CIO

General Re–New England Asset Management, which is owned by Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, said it has promoted a bond portfolio manager to chief investment officer.

Vincent “Vin” DeLucia takes over the CIO role from GR-NEAM President Calvin “Chip” Clark, who added CIO to his title last summer. DeLucia will continue to report to Clark, the company said.

Based in Farmington’s Pond View Corporate Center, GR-NEAM offers investment management and advisory services.
