Berkshire Bank, which has eight branches in Greater Hartford, has promoted Michael Carroll from senior vice president and commercial regional leader of New York to senior vice president and chief credit officer.
Carroll joined Berkshire four years ago. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s credit writing and approval processes.
He previously worked for KeyBank and KeyCorp.
