Massachusetts’ Berkshire Bank, which has eight Greater Hartford branches and recently opened an equipment leasing office in the Capital City, said it’s completed its acquisition of 20 Bank of America branches in New York.
First announced in July, the acquired branches have a combined $450 million in deposits and $4 million in loans.
The offices are located in 15 communities in eastern and central New York.
The acquisitions bring Berkshire’s total branch count to 91 in New England and New York.
