Becker’s Make-A-Wish promotion generates $6,000 

Becker’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry presented Make-A-Wish Connecticut with a $6,000 donation. Becker’s donated 10 percent of every gold and silver purchase made at any of Becker’s Buying locations after a wish was granted to employee Cheryl Wright’s son, Jeffrey. Make-A-Wish Connecticut is a nonprofit that grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions. The Connecticut chapter has granted over 2,300 wishes since its inception in 1986 and is slated to grant 170 this year.
