Hartford’s Connecticut Lighting Centers hired a former New Hampshire lighting showroom owner to be its inaugural director of business development.
Carla Beard’s job is to develop and expand Connecticut Lighting’s relationships with builders, remodelers, architects, interior designers and major corporate accounts, President David Director said.
Beard essentially is being asked to duplicate what she did running her own showroom in southern New Hampshire, racking up more than 25 years’ experience as a certified lighting consultant, Director said.
Connecticut Lighting’s galleries are at 160 Brainard Road in Hartford and 235 Queen St. in Southington. It also runs Restoration Lighting Gallery at 167 Brainard Road.
