Barnes & Noble will close its store in the Stamford Town Center in mid-July after about two decades at that location.
The national bookseller said in a social media post Saturday that the store, at 100 Greyrock Place, will close July 15. The company is offering discounts ahead of the closure, including 40% off books, 50% off toys, games and gifts, and 30% off music and movies.
The company said the closure is tied to the expiration of its lease.
Barnes & Noble said it has operated at the mall for 19 years.

The retailer opened a new two-story Stamford store in May 2024 at 1145 High Ridge Road, which remains open.
