Barclay Damon names new partner in New Haven

Barclay Damon recently announced that Brian Rich has joined the law firm as a partner, and his focus will be in its commercial litigation and restructuring, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice areas.

Rich’s primary office location is in New Haven.

Rich has more than two decades of experience, including representing some of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions. He has handled cases involving an array of business and commercial disputes, from contract claims to foreclosure actions to unfair business practices actions, according to the firm.

Brian Whiteley, leader of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, said Rich adds “considerable depth to the firm’s commercial litigation and restructuring, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights work.”

“This is part of our continued, strategic effort to expand the services we offer clients both across our platform and on a national scale,” Acee said. “We’re thrilled to add Brian to the firm.”
