Bank grant supports hospice facility

Union Savings Bank has donated $25,000 to Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut in support of a planned in-patient residence facility to be built in Danbury. The 35,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly location the will include 12 home-like patient suites, outdoor patios, a chapel, a stroll garden, dining area and dedicated family spaces. Clinical and administrative offices for the organization will be housed on the second floor.
