Avon-based Women’s Health USA (Whusa) has promoted a longtime executive Nancy Bernstein to president and chief operating officer.
Women’s Health provides business services to more than 550 providers, including OBGYN physicians, fertility clinics and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
Bernstein was most recently president of Women’s Health’s Connecticut management services operation, called Women’s Health Connecticut – a title she will keep, according to Whusa chairman and CEO Robert Patricelli.
But her new role will include oversight of Women’s Health’s business in other states, including New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Arizona and California.
“I’m looking forward to putting my experiences and successes in Connecticut to use on a broader scope of business, helping to advance Whusa as a national player in the women’s health services arena,” Bernstein said in a statement.
