Grand opening for Avon’s newest assisted-living and memory-care facility, the 74-unit The Residence at Brookside, takes place Tuesday.
Massachusetts’ LCB Senior Living opened The Residence at Brookside, at 117 Simsbury Road, with more than 70 permanent workers and a $1.8 million payroll, officials said.
Earlier this year, LCB opened it’s a second facility in the region, the 80-unit The Residence at South Windsor Farms, 200 Deming St.
The invitation-only celebration will features state and local officials among the guests, an LCB spokesman said.
