Avelo Airlines is launching seven new routes from Bradley International Airport (BDL) this month, the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) said Thursday.
Two of the new routes, flights to Wilmington (ILM) and Charlotte/Concord (USA) in North Carolina, launched this morning.
Those flights will operate Thursdays and Sundays, CAA said. To celebrate the inaugural Avelo flights, passengers were treated to a “celebratory send off” at the gate, it said.
Avelo also will start flying nonstop from Bradley to five other destinations:
- Orlando/Lakeland, Florida (LAL) beginning Nov. 8
- Daytona Beach, Florida (DAB), also beginning Nov. 8
- Houston (HOU) beginning Nov. 15
- Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ), beginning Nov. 16, and
- Cancun, Mexico (CUN) beginning Nov. 20.
These five flights will also operate two days a week, CAA said.
Avelo now offers nonstop flights to 28 destinations from Bradley.
