Avelo Airlines on Wednesday debuted its first non-continental U.S. flight route at Tweed-New Haven Airport, a nonstop service to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Avelo, a Houston-based airline company that’s been expanding in Connecticut, has begun its new nonstop service from Tweed to San Juan Luis Muñoz MarĂn International Airport in Puerto Rico. The one-way fares between New Haven and San Juan start at $99, the company said, and will operate weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
In addition to New Haven, the company is also offering the route from Wilmington Airport in Greater Philadelphia.
