Avelo Airlines is adding four new destinations to the southern United States from Tweed-New Haven Airport, the airline announced.
Beginning in May, Avelo will begin offering the following new nonstop routes: Destin/Fort Walton Beach Airport in Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida; McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee; Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia; and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport in Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina.
With these new routes, Avelo now offers 21 nonstop flights from Tweed to numerous destinations in the continental United States and Puerto Rico.
Avelo Airlines began operations at Tweed in 2021. Since then, almost 2 million passengers have used the airline from New Haven, the company said.
