The Auxiliary of Manchester Memorial Hospital recently held its annual meeting at the Manchester Country Club and presented a gift of $87,000 to ECHN and $15,000 toward the auxiliary’s scholarship fund. The largest portion of the gift — $55,000 — was designated for the Joint Effort Program, a two-hour workshop offered at both Rockville General and Manchester Memorial Hospitals for individuals scheduled to have total or partial hip or knee replacement surgery and for those thinking about having this type of surgery.
