A Torrington-based commercial developer is eyeing a Southington site for a new auto repair facility.
Calito Development Group LLC and principal Gary Eucalitto are proposing a 12,670-square-foot auto repair facility, Caliber Collision, at 1300 South Main St., in the Plantsville section of Southington.
The 4-acre parcel located off Route 10 is owned by 1300 South Main LLC out of Farmington, affiliated with principal Forrest E. Crisman Jr.
The building will feature a front office/retail area and nearly a dozen garage bays, including some for oversized vehicles, according to the site plans, which are currently before the town’s Inland Wetlands agency.
Eucalitto is a partner in Sound Development Group and has built numerous Dollar General, pharmacies and other retail projects throughout Connecticut.Â
The Plantsville lot is currently vacant and has an appraised value of $300,000.
