A recently constructed 12,424-square-foot Caliber Collision auto body shop in Southington has sold for $4.92 million.
Prolific Torrington-based builder Calito Development constructed the auto body shop at 1300 South Main St., a 4-acre property it purchased for $599,900 last April.
In a deed recorded Oct. 14, Calito sold the completed building, which was purpose-built for a triple-net lease to Caliber Collision, to an investor from California.
The property was listed by Lior Regenstreif, of Marcus & Millichap.
Russell Verzino, of Horvath & Tremblay, represented the buyer, a California-based limited liability company whose principal is Marc Saltzer, of Claremont, California.
Calito regularly constructs purpose-built properties for national chains, like Caliber, Dollar General and others.
In March, Calito sold a newly built Caliber location in nearby Waterbury for $5 million.Â
