Aurora Women and Girls Foundation names new development manager, board members

The Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, a 24-year-old nonprofit based in West Hartford, has welcomed one staff member and three new members to its board of directors.

Michelle M. Murphy of West Hartford is Aurora’s new development manager. A fundraising and communications professional, she worked most recently at the Springfield Museums, where she was vice president of development and marketing.

New board members include: Rauchell Beckford-Anderson of Simsbury, an attorney with Shipman & Goodwin LLP;  Katherine Hall of West Granby, vice president of global programs for Koyamada International Foundation; Tina St. Pierre of Wethersfield, a partner and chief operating officer in the Secondaries Group of Ares Management.
