Wright-Pierce in Middletown hired Patricia B. McIlvaine as dam safety specialist in the civil engineering practice group. McIlvaine was formerly a hydro environmental and safety leader at FPL Energy’s Maine-Hydro.

Michael Perkins was promoted to sales manager at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Glastonbury office. Perkins was a sales associate at the company before his promotion.

Jeff Mard was hired as senior account manager and marketing strategist at Horizon Marketing Group Inc. in Rocky Hill. Mard was formerly an account supervisor at Alcone Marketing.

Cashman & Katz Integrated Communications in Glastonbury promoted Tory Lawson to digital services account manager from public relations associate. Jennifer Fiereck was promoted from account supervisor to vice president and account supervisor at the company.

Sheptoff, Reuber & Co. in Glastonbury hired Mark A. Osora as partner. Osora was formerly COO and CFO at N.V. Perricone MD.

Peter F. Samson was appointed senior vice president in the commercial lending division at TD Banknorth in Glastonbury. Samson was previously vice president of commercial banking at Webster Bank.

Katie D’Agostino was appointed marketing communication consultant in the benefits department. D’Agostino was previously business change advisor at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Connecticut.

McCarter & English in Hartford named James G. Scantling a partner in the corporate securities practice group. Scantling was formerly a partner at Bingham McCutchen.

Port One Internet Inc. in Manchester hired Miriam Bertoli as client care specialist. Bertoli was most recently a customer loyalty representative at Gerber Scientific Inc.

Rensselaer at Hartford in Hartford appointed Wilton Barnum as director of academic operations and logistics. Barnum was formerly a consultant with the school. Linda Kresge was named administrative associate of academic departments and programs. Kresge was previously coordinator of leadership development and training programs at a Pratt & Whitney training center. Brendan Wilson was hired as business analyst of academic departments and programs. Wilson most recently was a data entry technician at Globe Direct.
