Attorneys reshuffle into new firm

Attorneys Mark S. Shipman, his son Lawrence Shipman and C. Scott Schwefel, formerly of Shipman, Stokesbury & Fingold, have launched a new firm with attorney David M.S. Shaiken called Shipman, Shaiken & Schwefel.

Robert A. Randich, a partner in the former firm, has also joined the new firm.

Shipman, Shaiken & Schwefel, which will focus on legal needs of business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate developers, executives and others, moved from Farmington to West Hartford’s Corporate Center West on Aug. 1.

Meanwhile, William Stokesbury, Ross Fingold and Rachel Shipman — who is married to Mark Shipman’s son, Bill Shipman — have reorganized under the name Stokesbury, Shipman & Fingold. The firm also includes attorney Catie Curran.
