Telephone and wireless provider AT&T said it spent nearly $850 million between 2011 and 2013 to enhance its Connecticut networks.
Of that total, about $150 million was spent in the Hartford area, according to AT&T, which plans to sell its Connecticut wireline business to Frontier Communications later this year.
AT&T said last year that it intended to invest approximately $130 million in Connecticut in 2013.
