AT&T resets its CT lobby squad

Telecomm giant AT&T named John Emra president of its Connecticut franchise.

AT&T also appointed Patricia Jacobs president of AT&T New England, a post she’s held since January 2012.

Emra succeeds Rodney Smith, who retired earlier this summer.

Jacobs and Emra will lead AT&T’s legislative, regulatory and community affairs activities in Connecticut.  

Emra joined AT&T in September 200. He serves on the boards of CAPA Connecticut that manages the Shubert Theater, the Connecticut Technology Council, Gateway Community College Foundation and Connecticut Economic Research Council.

He is a 1992 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University.
