Farmington employee benefits firm Ovation Benefits has been acquired by an Atlanta firm that bills itself as the largest benefits-only agency in the country.
Ovation’s principals, Bill Carew and Brian Driscoll, as well as their 45-person staff, will continue to work in Farmington as Digital Benefit Advisors. Digital has 20 offices across the country in its DBA division. Ovation represents its first Connecticut presence, as well as its largest acquisition to date.
Digital said in an announcement that Ovation provides it with sophisticated middle-market capabilities and a strengthening of its New England business.
Karelia Health, Ovation’s a workforce health improvement subsidiary, will continue to operate independently and was not a part of the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed.
