Atlanta software specialist GSI, Inc. has acquired the Andrews Consulting practice of Cheshire in order to expand its intelligence business.
Andrews now will do business as RapidDecision, offering software products to the data warehousing and business intelligence business. GSI will try to get RapidDecision clients to use GSI for their support needs.
Financial terms and employment numbers were not disclosed.
Bill Cashman, former senior vice president at Andrews, will join GSI in the newly created position of vice president of products and services.
