Edward D. Arnheiter, an expert in lean management and quality improvement, has been chosen to direct the masters in business administration program at Hamden’s Quinnipiac University.
Arnheiter, of West Hartford, will lead the traditional and online MBA programs at the university toward greater curriculum development, student recruitment, program marketing and enhancing corporate relationships, the school said Friday.
Arnheiter has published extensively in the areas of lean management, technology management and quality improvement. He is a former associate director of the Rensselear Center for Lean Studies.
Before joining Quinnipiac, Arnheiter was an associate professor and administrator for the international scholars program and the executive master’s program at Rensselear At Hartford.
He has a doctorate in industrial engineering and operations research and a master’s degree in engineering management, both from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
His bachelor’s degree is in mechanical engineering from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y.
