Bridgeport’s Aquarion Water Co., which is the largest investor-owned water utility in New England, said it has acquired a small water system serving residents in Middlebury and Woodbury.
Aquarion bought the system, which serves 25 customers around Lake Quassapaug, from West Shore Owner’s Association Inc.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Aquarion has more than 192,000 accounts in 51 Connecticut municipalities, as well as Massachusetts and New Hampshire customers.
