Apuzzo, Gunsallus hired as senior executives at Liberty Bank

Middletown-based Liberty Bank recently made two senior executive hires: Harry Gunsallus and Amy Apuzzo.

Gunsallus has been named senior vice president, digital strategy officer and chief operating officer of digital banking. He will oversee digital strategy, build and maintain fintech partnerships and develop products and services to support Liberty’s soon-to-be-launched, standalone digital bank.

 
Most recently, Gunsallus was with BankSouth in Georgia where he served as chief innovation officer.
 
Apuzzo was hired as vice president and digital marketing manager. She came to Liberty Bank from BM Technologies Inc., formerly BankMobile, where she spent 12 years in various marketing roles.
