Apartments Sold For $5.4 Million

The 92-unit Summit apartments in Colchester have sold for $5.4 million, industry circles say.

The Tudor garden-style complex of two-bedroom units is comprised of seven buildings on 23 acres on Balaban Road, near Route 2.

The property is near the Hartford and New London job markets, and close to the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos.

The buyers plans major upgrades and renovations to the apartment property built in 1975, according to Marcus & Millichap of New Haven was the sole broker in the sale.

Nonprofit pays $680K for Enfield industrial building

Allied Community Services paid $680,000 for a 14,840-square-foot industrial building in Enfield to house its operations.

Floral Realty Inc. sold the building located at 294 George Washington Road.

Allied Community Services provides individuals with disabilities or other challenges the opportunity to live a productive, independent and fulfilling life.

The company has more than 165 employees in Connecticut and Alabama.

ServPro takes space

LDI Enterprises Inc. leased 14,300 square feet at 11 Progress Circle in Newington for a ServPro fire damage and water clean-up and restoration operation.

O,R&L represented the tenant and landlord Buckley Newington Trust in the lease.

Jay Morris represented the tenant.

Alterra shifts IT to Windsor

Reinsurer Alterra Capital Services leased 7,875 square feet at 100 Northfield Drive in Windsor for a partial relocation of its information technology operations from New Jersey.

RM Bradley Co. represented Alterra in lease talks with landlord HUB Properties Group.

 

Home remodeler leases

Home remodeler Daniel G. Blanchet leased 1,600 square feet at 205 Research Drive in Milford to house his operations.

The landlord is D’Amato Investments LLC.

ERA Property World represented Blanchet, while the landlord was represented The Geenty Group Realtors.

 

Package deliverer in CT

Columbus Management Systems Inc. expanded its small-package delivery operations into Connecticut with the lease of 768 square feet at 11 Sycamore Way in Branford.

Landlord Gray Eagle Corp. was represented by Geenty Group Realtors. Columbus was represented by Raveis Real Estate Services.

 

Law-office condo

New Haven law firm Letizia, Ambrose & Falls P.C. has purchased two office-condo units totaling 8,000 square foot in the State Plaza Condominium building at 667-669 State St. in the Elm City.

State Investors sold the condo to Letizia Ambrose affiliate Tish’s Terrace LLC.

The law firm plans to occupy one floor of space in the units and lease the rest, officials said in a statement.

O,R&L Commercial LLC represented the seller. Dow Realty represented the buyer.
