A27-unit Torrington apartment complex has sold for $975,000.
Church Street Gardens LLC, based in Fairfield County, bought the property at 128 Church St. from seller 128 Church Street LLC for about $36,111 per unit, realty sources said.
The New York-based seller acquired the property in 2005.
The complex is comprised of 12 two-bedroom and 11 single-bed units.
Investment sales broker Northeast Private Client Group represented the seller.
The Higgins Group was the buyer’s agent.

In Orange, Colonial represented landlord Simone Development of Orange in leasing three spaces at 109 Boston Post Road, totaling 5,439 square feet: Supercuts LLC and Arizona LS LLC, doing business as Medi-Weight Loss, each leased 2,000 square feet of retail; University of New Haven leased 1,439 square feet of office space.
Also in Orange, Roni Deutch Tax Services sublet all of its 1,200 square feet at 501 Boston Post Road to Trebco Specialty Products Inc. D’Amato Investments LLC owns the property.

Cromwell tobacco shop
Tobacco retailer What A Life LLC paid $279,000 for a building on an acre in Cromwell for its cigar emporium.
Owner Anthony Tine plans to renovate the 1,663-square-foot building on the commercial-retail-zoned parcel at 91 Berlin Road, blocks away from its leased quarters at 161 Berlin Road.
Joseph E. Smigel Jr. was the seller.
What A Life obtained a $100,000 grant from the state for the purchase and upgrade, authorities said.
The Geenty Group, Realtors, of Branford represented Smigel.
Prestige Properties was the buyer’s agent.

Hartford law firm Robinson & Cole signed a 10-year renewal for 9,300 square feet of office space in downtown Providence, R.I.
The lease includes a 3,000-square-foot expansion at One Financial Plaza.
Hartford’s RM Bradley Brokerage Co. and Paramount Properties of Providence represented Robinson & Cole in the lease.

AVH’s State House Sq. renewal
Law firm Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider signed a seven-year renewal that adds 6,588 additional square feet to its space at 90 State House Square in downtown Hartford.
AVH has been occupying 21,407 square feet in the building. The firm’s other offices are in New York City and Washington D.C.
RM Bradley Brokerage Co. represented AVH in the lease.

Branford’s Quality Hyundai bought the former U.S. Postal Service distribution center in New Haven for its new automobile showroom.
The price paid for the site at 151 Frontage Road, also known as 115 Peat Meadow Road, wasn’t disclosed.
The dealership is currently housed in cramped quarters at 3 Liesl Road in Branford.
