A four-story apartment building with nine units and ground-floor retail in Danbury’s Main Street Historic District has sold for $1.8 million, according to the city’s land records.
Daniell Oliveira, of Danbury, doing business as 238 Main Street LLC, has bought the 9,216-square-foot mixed-use building with 2,000 square feet of retail space, at 238 Main St., from Lino Capozzi, of Bethelhem, and Paul Guerra, of Prospect.
They sold the building under the name 238 Main Street Restoration LLC, according to state records. They bought it for $212,000 in 2007, according to property records.
Capozzi and Guerra renovated the building while it was under their ownership, said Brian Godin, a listing broker with Middlebury-based Godin Property Brokers, who represented both the buyer and seller.
“It’s immaculate,” Godin said. “It’s an impressively gorgeous building.”
The building, which was constructed on a 0.05-acre parcel in 1908, is appraised at $968,800 and assessed at $678,160, property records show.
An email to Oliveira was not immediately returned. Attempts to reach Capozzi and Guerra were unsuccessful.
