Archbishop LeRoy Bailey Jr., of The First Cathedral in Bloomfield and his family and the Gelles family of West Hartford were recently presented with the Anti-Defamation League’s Greater Hartford Torch of Liberty Award at Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford. The award celebrates a commitment to philanthropy, public service and the Greater Hartford community. The event raised $330,000 to support ADL’s effort to fight hate, build hope and safeguard liberty.
